Making the daily commute to work even more relaxing: The RECYCLE COMMUTE SINGLE pannier by VAUDE offers plenty of water-repellent and climate-friendly storage space for a change of clothes, laptop (up to 13.3″) and lunch box.

Thanks to the QMR 2.0 fastening system, this bike bag is compatible with most luggage racks (strut Ø 8-16 mm) and easy to use: Depending on which luggage carrier you have, just insert and adjust one of the enclosed adapters, click it in and you’re done! The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry the bag to the office, and its stable shape means it will stay right next to your desk all day long.

ECO FINISH:
VAUDE products with ECO FINISH are water-resistant and yet produced in an environmentally-friendly way without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFC is a group of chemicals used to make the outer fabric of some products waterproof.

GREEN SHAPE:
VAUDE’s quality seal for products that are produced in a particularly environmentally-friendly way. As there is no worldwide standard for the assessment of organic products, VAUDE has developed their own rating system for environmentally friendly outdoor products with strictest criteria. GREEN SHAPE labelled products are made from sustainable materials and with resource saving production methods. The criteria are not only strict but also continuously reviewed and involve the entire product lifecycle, ranging from development through to product care and recycling after use. The aim of this rating system is to minimize the environmental impact.

GREEN BUTTON (“GRÜNER KNOPF”):
The German textile seal “Grüner Knopf” (Green Button) identifies textiles that meet high social and environmental standards. 26 social and ecological criteria are considered for each product. The companies must prove their human rights, social and ecological responsibilities.

MYCLIMATE:
This product is climate-neutral: the emissions from materials, manufacturing process and shipping were systematically reduced and completely compensated.

POLYAMIDE RECYCLING:
For this product, VAUDE uses some robust, lightweight and fast-drying polyamide yarn. These are surplus materials and cutting room scraps from polyester production that – instead of being disposed of as waste (as is often the case) – are collected, processed and returned into the production cycle. This maximizes the utilisation of valuable resources in material production and minimises the amount of new raw materials used for a product.

PFC FREE:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. This product is free from PFC.

PVC FREE:
This VAUDE seal means that this product is completely made without PVC (polyvinylchloride). Looks like tarpaulin and is just as durable and waterproof, yet consists of polyurethane coated textile fabric instead of PVC. PVC often contains plasticizers (phthalates) that are suspected of having negative health impacts.

QMR 2.0:
The second generation of the QUICK MOUNT RELEASE (QMR) hook: even easier to use and can be directly locked onto the hook (with ABZS 145/20 padlock). Thanks to included adapters, the QMR hooks fit a wide range of different tube diameters (8-16 mm). Simply choose the appropriate adapter for your rack, fit it into the QRM hook of the bag, adjust the hook’s position with the horizontal dial if need be and hook the bag on the rear rack with just one click. An additional hook with on an elliptical ring allows for individual adjustments to the vertical line of the luggage rack.
