PERTEX QUANTUM:
Pertex Quantum uses extremely fine yarns to produce very light, yet extremely robust and durable fabrics. Their softness allows for down insulation as well as synthetic insulation.
Properties: extremely light (35 g /m²) and at the same time very robust, windproof, water-repellent, breathable, soft touch, down-proof.

S.CAFÉ:
In their efforts to improve their sustainability, Schöffel uses the environmentally-friendly technology S.CAFÉ: a technical fibre composite made of polyester fibres. Coffee oil is extracted from the waste product coffee grounds, which are produced from coffee beans during conventional coffee brewing. This is then mixed with a granulate, which is basically the spinneret liquid. This gives the polyester improved properties, such as optimised odour neutralisation, faster drying and a natural antibacterial effect. The S.CAFÉ yarn is then created from the spinneret liquid.
This means that the renewable raw material meets the high quality requirements for textile components, and in a natural way.

WR PFC FREE:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. The product’s water- and dirt-repellent WR impregnation (water repellent) through the surface treatment was carried out free of PFC and is thus environmentally-friendly.
